So we went to the mall to get a picture with Santa but the boy taking our pictures must have been on Santa's naughty list because he did a terrible job taking the pictures!! And was not a very nice boy. Lucky for us Grandma Young was able to snap this shot of us, so we at least have a picture of Brooklyn's first time with Santa.

All I want for Christmas is my first tooth!!!

Brooklyn finally got her first tooth!!! Just an early Christmas present. She doesn't show it off yet, but when I get a picture of it you will see.

A New Friendship

Finally Riley has learned to trust Brooklyn... at least to sit next to her, and let her hang on to his collar.
She is not always this gentle, so he has good reason to stay away from her some days. But he is a good boy and puts up with a lot from all of us in this family.

Our First Real Snow Storm

Yesterday was Brooklyn's first snow storm....... and it is still snowing today!!! So what do you do on a day like today??

Last week we went to the zoo, and there were about 7 new babies in the zoo.... well at least they were born this year.

New Noises

Brooklyn has started this clicking noise that I believe she learned from her daddy.

Happy 8 months

Yesterday was Brooklyn's 8 month birthday, and she decided for her present she was going to start crawling. We aren't sure just what clicked all of a sudden, but it is exciting to watch her go from one side of the room to the other. She is still a little shaky but she gets where she wants to go. And it is just so cute to watch her go. She has already gotten into 3 floor plants and I'm sure they haven't had the last of her.
